VIETNAM and USA/CANADA SOURCING and PROMOTION HISTORY
JULY 2001 To Date
EXSERO has carried out very diversified furnishings and industrial goods sourcing for many USA and Canadian firms across many Vietnamese and foreign firms in Vietnam on both a retained and commission basis. JULY 2008: EXSERO was the promotion and advertising consultant to the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, Hanoi, Vietnam, working with Furniture Today, Furniture World, the World Market Center, and the Western Home Furnishings Association, for the DISCOVER THE SOURCE: Vietnam Furnishings Showroom 406 in the new building "C" at the World Market Center, July 28 to August 1, 2008, Las Vegas Market. AUGUST 2007: EXSERO was the consultant to the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency to promote the Vietnam Furnishings Booths at the Las Vegas Summer Market, Sands, July 31 - August 3, 2007. JULY 2007: EXSERO exhibited for the fifth time at the SUMMER LAS VEGAS WORLD MARKET. JANUARY 2007: EXSERO exhibited for the fourth time at the WINTER LAS VEGAS WORLD MARKET. OCTOBER 2006: EXSERO attended the HCMC EXPO 2006 FURNITURE SHOW in HCMC (Saigon), Vietnam. JULY 2006: EXSERO exhibited for the third time at the SUMMER LAS VEGAS WORLD MARKET. FEBRUARY 2006: EXSERO exhibited for the second time at the WINTER LAS VEGAS WORLD MARKET. OCTOBER 2005: EXSERO exhibited at the HCMC EXPO 2005 FURNITURE SHOW in HCMC (Saigon), Vietnam. JULY 2005: EXSERO exhibited at both: the first SUMMER LAS VEGAS WORLD MARKET and the Las Vegas Furniture Show. JUNE 2005: EXSERO planned and executed a RAINFOREST ALLIANCE/FSC WOOD and FURNITURE TODAY event across many Vietnamese indoor and casual furniture factories.
OCTOBER 2004: EXSERO planned and executed the FURNITURE TODAY visit to the HCMC FURNITURE EXPO 2004. EXSERO and FURNITURE TODAY were the featured speakers at HCMC EXPO 2004, where EXSERO was also an exhibitor.
JULY 2004: EXSERO planned and executed the FURNITURE TODAY VIETNAM FURNITURE assessment tour in cooperation with the Vietnam Ministry of Trade. The July 2004 Furniture Today tour in the HCMC (Saigon) region was executed by EXSERO across twenty-four (24) foreign and Vietnamese owned factories and related entities. The 2004 August edition of FURNITURE TODAY featuring Vietnamese factories, used extensively today, is a direct result of the EXSERO effort.
APRIL 2004: IN FURNITURE wrote about EXSERO sourcing in a feature story in Faces, April 19th, 2004.
APRIL 2004: EXSERO carried out, in cooperation with the Embassy of Vietnam, Trade Office, Washington, DC, and the Ministry of Trade, Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, Hanoi, Vietnam, VIETNAM FURNISHINGS NEW DISCOVERY as an exhibitor at the APRIL HIGH POINT MARKET, April 22-28, 2004. Eighteen (18) Vietnamese furnishings companies exhibited for the first time in the USA.
MARCH 2004: EXSERO is mentioned in the ASIAN SOURCES edition of the FURNITURE TODAY. NOVEMBER 2003: EXSERO planned and executed, in cooperation with the Embassy of Vietnam, Trade Office, Washington, DC, and the Ministry of Trade, Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, Hanoi, Vietnam, VIETNAM FURNISHINGS 2003 (VF 2003). VF 2003 was composed of eight U.S. furnishings entities across office furniture, high-end furniture, wholesale furniture and accent and accessory items, entry into Vietnam. NOVEMBER 2002: EXSERO carried one of the early direct sourcing evaluation actions for a major direct U.S. wholesale furnishings corporation. JULY 2001: EXSERO carried out, in cooperation with the VIETNAM TRADE OFFICE the first wood, U.S. hardwoods, furniture and construction materials trade mission to Vietnam (U.S.-VINATRADEMISSION).
